Bus, tram, train, boat - Geneva’s new multi-modal ticket Print E-mail

No Venice or Amsterdam, but nevertheless boats are part of Geneva’s sophisticated transport infrastructure. A new multi-modal ticket allows passengers to pass from one form of transport to another with a convenience that is going to make public transport that much more attractive as an alternative to car and bike for residents and visitors alike.

Passengers arriving at Geneva International Airport will find the 8 minute train ride to the city centre an even more attractive cost/convenience option as the new service means no waiting with long distance travellers at the train ticket outlet.

Tickets can be bought at the outlets of all of the participating transport authorities. The new ticket goes under the name of UNIRESO and will be introduced as of the 1st July 01.
