On tthe 22nd and 23rd January, a new international symposium was launched in Geneva. BioData2002 is a forum bringing together executives and decision makers from leading pharmaceutical companies, innovative biotechnology enterprises and the investment community.
BioData will be an annual event addressing current issues facing the life science industry,
providing discussion opportunities for investors, IT companies, pharmaceutical businesses and other leading players shaping the biotechnology industry of tomorrow.
The symposium was specifically designed to not only address the major challenges facing the biotechnology industry but to also initiate a mechanism for the development of solutions by promoting effective partnerships.
BioData helps facilitate investment decisions, address scientific, ethical and economic issues and provides opportunities for one-on-one meetings.
The event was sponsored by a number of leading players in the region including the State of Geneva, Serono and Compaq.
BioData confirms the Geneva region’s growing influence in the world of Life Sciences and, more specifically, in the field of biotech.
