The Sino-Swiss Water Forum & Side Event to Aquatech - China 2009 Version imprimable Suggérer par mail

Federal Councillor Moritz Leuenberger and the Chinese Minister for Water Resources, Chen Lei, signed an agreement in Shanghai on 19th April, aiming at consolidating the cooperation between both countries in the fields of sustainable water management. As the first follow-up activity of the agreement, the Consulate General of Switzerland is organizing a Sino-Swiss Water Forum on 4th June in Shanghai, with the support of Chinese Ministry of Water Resources, authorities of the Yangtze Delta Region and Embassy of Switzerland in China.

This Forum will take place while Shanghai will host Aquatech China 2009, the leading international exhibition brand for process, drinking and waste water. Aquatech China 2009 is one of the most important and largest water technology shows in Asia. In an effort to enhance the closer co-operation with China in the field of water management, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai launches this event together with official Swiss and Chinese partners to provide a platform for Swiss companies to expose their technology, know-how and experiences amongst a large number of Chinese officials, partners and clients. More than 100 participants are expected, with extensive media coverage and press presence.
